The InVerse Theology Project: Recovering the Disciplines of Poetry and Theology
Allow us to introduce you to T.M. Moore, the principal of the Fellowship of Ailbe, a ministry deeply rooted in the Celtic Christian tradition. For the past seventeen years, T.M. and his wife, Susie, have dedicated themselves to helping believers realize more of the presence, promise, and power of the kingdom of God. Through their ministry, they have produced and provided free resources and training to Christians in over 187 countries.

In recent years, T.M. has been pursuing a project within the Fellowship of Ailbe to rekindle curiosity and interest among Christians in theology and poetry. Dissatisfied with the decline of these disciplines among fellow churchgoers, T.M. created The InVerse Theology Project, which traverses themes from the different theological disciplines in various verse-form essays. Each edition comprises six installments, in which T.M. guides listeners through the primary theological disciplines: biblical, creational, historical, systematic, practical, and spiritual. Many themes are published as books, which are distributed for free through their bookstore. They have published poetry books on Ecclesiastes, a Christian view of evil, William Cowper on preaching, the Christian perspective on time, a Christian reflection on the works of Homer, and a collection of meditations on light and the sun.
Beyond his contributions to the Fellowship of Ailbe, T.M. has dedicated the last five decades to a variety of ministries, including serving as a pastor, seminary president, campus minister, and author of over forty books. He also forged a twenty-six-year partnership with Chuck Colson and the Colson Center for Christian Worldview and continues his role as a reviewer for the Christian Scholar’s Review and Christianity and Literature. With a commitment spanning decades, a legacy of providing free resources, and their various projects, T.M. and Susie are inspiring exemplars of faithfulness and dedicated service.
